Our Beginnings... Sweet Traditions was founded in 1996 by Eric Sigurdson as an area development company for Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. Our first store opened in October 1997 in Ferguson, Missouri, to record sales! Since then we have opened stores throughout the Chicagoland area, St. Louis metro area, and Central Illinois.

Ten years later, Sweet Traditions is one of the largest franchise groups for Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. We currently own and operate 25 retail locations, service hundreds of convenience partners, and assist thousands of not-for-profit organizations through our fundraising programs. Sweet Traditions employs over 700 associates within our retail stores and corporate offices.
